Who Are We?

The National Children's Choir (NCC)/Cór Naisiúnta na nÓg is a unique choral experience for primary school children in Ireland. The aim of NCC is to foster a love of choral singing amongst the primary school children of our nation. The vision of the choir is to bring massed choral singing of the very highest quality to the reach of every primary school, regardless of size, pupil numbers or even facilities and to further the cause of music in primary schools. It forms every two years and is for primary school 4th, 5th and 6th classes to take part.

When Will It Be Back?

The NCC will be returning in September 2026 for schools to affiliate to perform in Spring 2027. The Summer Course for Teachers is planned to run in July 2026, subject to DES sanction. There will be no course in Summer 2025.
